PROPER CARE

If you have a rear-wheel drive vehicle, have a front wheel alignment performed whenever new tires are installed on the front end of the car. A front wheel alignment is also needed if your front tires are not wearing evenly or if your car hits a large bump or pothole at high speed, especially with the wheel turned.

Because of the special tools and skill required to perform a front wheel alignment, this maintenance procedure should always be performed by a professional automotive technician. Alignment settings of toe, camber, and caster should each be set to the vehicle manufacturer's recommended specification. A range of values may be permissible for caster.
